Hey there, and happy new year!
Super quick one as I'm at will's. His friends are all over pre drinking and playing Fifa... Which is perfect for a girl that doesn't play this stud but oh well! Hope you all have a good night and look after yourself :-)

Day #63
Hey there!
Just a quick one today, as I've just got back from date night with will. We went to a lovely restaurant in deal, and had some very posh burgers - it was very nice. Afterwards we went to visit will's parents friends as his parents were over there, so it was good to meet them as well.
Apart from that I haven't done a lot today, I've just been so exhausted lately it's horrible. I am starting to get very stressed about work but oh well...

Day #62
Today has had many ups and downs, as this morning I ended up having a bit of a breakdown. I couldn't hold on to anything, and ended up just sobbing which was horrible. This meant that I didn't go to my Great Grandmas grave though, but I was just not up to it.
I did manage to see my cousin that I haven't seen in months though, which was absolutely lovely - he is so tall now I feel absolutely teeny! I managed to get a polaroid of him, my sister, my nan, and my mum which I shall be taking up to uni so I can always see them.
I must be off now as I am going home tonight, so be back tomorrow.

Day #61
Hey there.
This has been a long, long day. I went out last night so didn't get to sleep till gone 1 am, and was up before 5 am... safe to say I'm exhausted. Luckily I wasn't the one driving, so after a while I managed to sleep, but it hadn't actually helped me gain anymore enthusiasm for life. I have had to sleep this afternoon too, and was dead to the world for a good few hours.
My family and I went to see my Granddad today which was nice as we don't see him that much. He did however leave to go to the pub whilst we were still there which did not impress us particularly, oh well though. Nanny had cooked us a roast for lunch today, so that was wonderful to come back to - and very very tasty.
We may go to my aunties tonight, but we shall see as we are all exhausted. So I'll be back tomorrow.

Day #60

Hey there. As you know, I was supposed to be heading to my nans. However, the weather has been terrible - causing a lot of traffic and problems, so my sister and I haven't gone. My parents have gone though, and we shall be following early in the morning.
The upside of this, was the fact that I got to go and see Will for a little bit today which as always was lovely. Also, I shall be heading to a house party.. which is something that hasn't happened in a few years - so yay! I'm driving so not drinking but that is fine.
My photo is of the gingerbread house my sister and I made and decorated this morning - it isn't the most decorated or high-tech, but oh well!
Until tomorrow,

Day #59
Hey there.
Happy Boxing Day! This is a day of laziness and eating - and that is exactly how it has turned out. I have once again spent the day in my new Winnie the Pooh onesie, as it is just so comfy and I have no one to impress. Usually on this day we travel to my nans, however this year we haven't, due to my parents being in pain and us all drinking yesterday. I didn't realise how much this would actually affect me, but I have been bummed out all day - maybe that is just a comedown though.
However, my sister and I finally introduced our parents to Frozen and it went down a storm which is really good. Now we are just sitting in the front room with the fire lit, watching the Big Fat Quiz of the Year - absolutely lovely. The photo today is of a watch I bought over a month ago - but I gave it to my parents to wrap up for me for Christmas. The only problem with this is that my dad lost it, but he did find it earlier on so I finally have a watch again!
I shall be off now, good night!

This is just a a short one, as today is a family day. Once again we have all been spoilt, and I have finally gotten a polaroid camera! I adore it, and my entire family - our Christmas days are so special.
Anyway, I'm off to drink some more and play Rummikub with everyone. Hope everyones days have been special and everyone has been spoilt as much as I have. Until tomorrow!

Day #57

Hey there, and Happy Christmas Eve!This has been one long old day. Up and out early into Folkestone this morning to get a few last minutes bits but now we are all done! I have spent pretty much all my time today after that wrapping all of my presents, and watching different Christmassy films - loving that Christmas feel.
This evening shall be spent with my family, eating and drinking - pretty much like the whole of tomorrow! I will be popping out shortly though to see my best friend, as I haven't seen her properly in a long time. I'm super looking forward to seeing her, as well as coming home and drinking - before waiting for Santa!
I am off now, so I'll be back on Christmas Day!

Day #56

Hey there!
This has been a very, very long day. As well as busy. As Will and I woke up early this morning we decided to join the rest of his family on an outing to Roughtor - a large hill with loads of rocks. Being a geographer I was in heaven. We then had to kill time before Will's parents took me to the train station, so I could go back to Kent.
We went to Tintagel for a lovely (huge) Cornish pasty and a little relax. On the way to Bodmin Station, Will's dad took us along to wear his ancestors used to work, live, and eventually buried - it was lovely to be able to see some more history of the area.
I have had about 6 hours worth of travelling back to Folkestone today, so on top of that climb this morning it has been a long, long day. I am super glad to be home for Christmas, but I definitely am going to miss Will lots - it was horrible saying goodbye to him, even if just for a few days.
I am now off to do some wrapping and all that Christmassy stuff, so I'll see you on the flip side!

Day #55
Hey there! When in Cornwall, one must at least sample a traditional pasty. This is what we did today, and I actually had my first Cornish pasty ever - it was so blooming tasty, but also huge. After having this for lunch we went into sports mode. Now let me say it now, I am not a particularly sporty person (if at all), and with all my back issues it's not my highest priority. However this was actually really nice to be exercising again, especially playing badminton - I used to play it when I was younger and loved it but not since then, and now Will and I may be joining the club at University. We also played a bit of table tennis, basketball, and finished off with a swim.
Tonight we are going out for a meal as it is my last night - and Will's eldest brothers first. This means it is the only day we are all together so we shall be celebrating! It may only be 6pm but I think we will be drinking shortly, before we go out perhaps.
That is all for today, good night!

Day #54
Hey there!
After learning about it for years, and it always being discussed, today I finally had the chance to visit the Eden Project. Boy, it was amazing. The whole area was getting into the Christmas spirit, with children's crafting areas and 'Memories of Christmas' all around of the Rainforest biome. My favourite part of this was the part where you could write notes to people you missed at Christmas time, and I'm not glad to admit it - but I broke down. This is the first Christmas for my family without my Great Grandma and it suddenly hit me at that moment, then I just couldn't keep it together any longer. Even thinking about it now I want to just cry but I shall hold it together.
I haven't felt particularly well today, but I have persevered through. I did have a nap when we got back, but now I've thrown myself back into it. Will and I have just been swimming and then into the sauna, and we are now back with his family - drinking and preparing for another games night. I somehow managed to fall over on the way back, and I've already started hurting which is not good... but oh well I shall get over it.
Okay I need to go socialise now, so I'll be back tomorrow.

Day #53
Hey there!Today has been spent mostly travelling - but now I can say we are officially in Cornwall! The place we are staying at is absolutely lovely, and having the 6 person cottage for William, myself and his brothers (plus another girlfriend) is great. There are so many different things to do we are spoilt for choice. Will and I have already been swimming this evening, and at first we had the pool to ourselves which was lovely, until four children came in and started splashing all about the place!
All of Will's family have been over at our place this evening and that has been lovely, as we have all been eating and drinking and chatting - the typical Christmas thing. Even though I have already met most of the family, today I met one of Will's brothers for the first time - as well as his girlfriend - and all of them together have been so warming towards me so I feel really comfortable with them.
Tonight shall be spent in the games room brushing up on all our skills before the proper tournaments begin when Will's second brother gets here... So hopefully I won't be too bad!
I shall be off, see you later alligators!

Day #52
Hey there!
Today has been absolutely lovely, albeit long! I have spent today in London with my sister, spending quality sibling time together. We waited for over an hour in a queue outside of a restaurant for breakfast, but believe me it was worth it! This place is very famous and is called 'The Breakfast Club', and boy the food in there is good - both my sister and I had pancakes and bacon and golly is was lovely. After this we traipsed around a few shops, however my back and stomach were starting to hurt so we decided to move on to our main reason for going there.
This reason you may ask? Winter Wonderland! We got the tube over to Hyde Park and our adventure began. Our first stop was at the big wheel, and after a little bit of queuing we were on it - don't get me wrong being up that high in relatively light pods was a little scary, but the views were totally worth it. We then decided to start drinking (mulled cider) so grabbed a couple of those and wandered around for a bit, before going to the Carousel Bar - a moving carousel with a bar in the middle (obvious I know). After this we decided to go on one of the many rides, however this was a children's one. It was so good though as it was a roller coaster and a waltzer at the same time! Brilliant or what? With high adrenaline we headed to the German area with a huge bar and dance area - and well, what an experience that was.
Now I am at home, and have been rushing and stressing - wrapping presents and starting to pack. I go to Cornwall early tomorrow morning with my boyfriend and his family, so I needed to make sure I had their presents all sorted - and I can finalised clothes in the morning. I am not there for a massively long time and wear a lot of the same thing, so I shouldn't need to take too much luckily.
I need to sleep and prepare for the long drive, so next time we speak I shall be in Cornwall! In a while crocodile,

Day #51
Hey there!
My mum got home from New York City early this morning, and it is nice to see her after such a long time. The only downside is that she was super tired and getting ill so wasn't the happiest person to be around... hence why I went out today. Before I went out though I played around with my 'Selfy Stick', hence the photos. I took my boyfriend and myself up to Canterbury with the aim of Christmas shopping, however that didn't really happen as it was so busy and Will was overheating from all the layers he was wearing. I did manage to get a few bits though, including Christmas crackers which have modelling balloons in each one - I have never been so excited to open crackers after Christmas dinner!
Afterwards I went back to Wills and straight away had a nap as I was just so exhausted. After we woke up we played Minecraft, and I sound a little geeky but I am really starting to enjoy it - especially the fact that we have our own world with house and animals and waterfalls. I kind of wish I had it at mine, but then I would definitely not do anything.
The first photo of the day is of the gingerbread I was decorating late last night/early this morning, as I said I would post a photo today. As I have just come home and had a look at them, half of them had gone - typically Messenger family life!
I am exhausted so hopefully I shall be off to sleep soon, as tomorrow I am off to London! So I shall be back later,

Day #50
Hey there!
My day hasn't been really very productive, although I have actually done some baking which was lovely to get in to again. I made gingerbread cookies and am displaying them in a different way, but I do need to finish decorating them - so I will show you them tomorrow!
This evening has been absolutely wonderful. I went for a meal with my closest group of girls from home in Folkestone, and it was lovely. Getting to see them again after such a long time was so lovely, especially catching up on all the little bits of gossip that have happened to everyone. I have realised how much I really love them tonight which is so good.
Okay, it's nearly midnight so I shall be off. I say that and I am going to carrying on decorating my cookies!
Until tomorrow,

Day #49
Hey there!
Waking up again with my boyfriend was lovely, especially being in a double bed for the first time in our relationship! I got to spend a lot of the day with him today as well which was nice, just playing Minecraft and GTAV, and he even cooked me brunch. He then also walked me into town so that I could meet some of my old school friends, and after I was done walked to get me as well as I was completely lost.
It has been a lovely day really, spending time with both Will and my old friends. I wish I could have spent more time with my boyfriend today but I didn't want to drive along the road from mine to his in the pitch black again. On the way home I did stop and get myself some bread and Ben and Jerrys which has made me feel a bit better as I have started to feel unwell.
I shall be off now, so off I shall be!

Day #48
Hey there!
My dad and I spent this morning putting up all the Christmas decoration around the front room mainly, so it is looking lovely and festive in there - especially when we put the fire on! Apart from that, I wasn't doing much for the rest of the day as I was just waiting to be able to see my boyfriend again as it had been a few days, which is out of the ordinary.
Seeing him in the late afternoon and this evening has been absolutely wonderful, and we are still actually together - writing our blogs and ignoring each other on his bed. That's romance. He came to my house for the first time today and he properly met my dad and sister which is lovely, and now I have come to his to visit for the first time, and let's say his house is much bigger than mine and quite a bit more 'posh' for lack of a better word.
Okay someone is being needy now he's finished writing, so I am off to play Xbox because I'm such a gamer... So until tomorrow!

Day #47
Hey there!
I managed to get a full uninterrupted 8 hours sleep last night in my wonderful double bed - so that was heavenly. It's been a busy day though, as my father and I went shopping and to get a Christmas tree, and the one we've got is beautiful. Once that was completed we have rearranged the whole front room to get more space for Christmas and the tree, and proper decoration will commence tomorrow! We also found my dog's Christmas outfits, so I inevitably she was dressed up not too long ago - but that was definitely more amusing for us than her.
My sister came home from her week away this evening, and it was lovely to see her again after about 6 weeks. We were supposed to decorate the tree together tonight, however she went over to her boyfriends and I won't see her until she's been to work and the gym tomorrow - needless to say I was a little disappointed. Oh well, I will just do it tomorrow with my dad.
Now for a nice peaceful evening, before hopefully another long night of sleep. So it's adios from me!

Day #46
Hey there!
Just a quick one today, as I have been driving from sunrise to sunset. I drove my boyfriend and I back to Kent, bypassing my nans house on the way which was wonderful. Overall the journey was 8 hours, including two stops which was expected really. This was on top of having to finish tidying my room this morning, and leaving everything ready for when I get back in three weeks - especially my bed.
My father and dog are currently the only ones home, however the welcome home was still lovely. I didn't have much time to relax though as it was Will's mothers birthday so we headed over to his grandparents house to celebrate. It was wonderful to meet more of his family, including his uncle and partner and they were all extremely welcoming, which put me at ease for going to Cornwall with them.
I am feeling emotional though after leaving Aberystwyth though, as we have all become so close up there. On top of this, even though will lives 20 minutes away from me, it is not 2 minutes and I dont like that at all! We have become to accustomed to that way of life, and I miss him so much already, but I think this will make us even stronger (not that we need it).
This is now bed time, so good night!

Day #45
Hey there!
Who knew packing to come home for Christmas could be so difficult? Almost everything is a distraction, but that worked well as I managed to redo my notice board in my room so that everything wasn't dotted around the room which is brilliant - and it looks pretty sassy now hence the photo. The love heart decoration was a present sent from my mother as a surprise and it is absolutely lovely, As she described it, each of the hearts is one of my family at home, and the ribbon holding them all together is my dog, Scoobie. I teared up in front of my flatmates reading that... Sorry for being soppy!
My boyfriend and I have just been packing the car, as I am driving him home as well which is lovely - the company is definitely a plus. I still have little bits to do in the early morning (before 7am which is crazy for a student), but that is fine... we will manage to pack everything into my teeny car!
To celebrate our last night and making it through the semester, Will and I are spending a few hours relaxing with a pizza and watching a film together - even though we will still see each other pretty much everyday at home as well! It is different being up here though, and we can spend one more night in our bubble together before hitting reality.
I shall be off, to get prepped for the long journey tomorrow! Speak soon,

Day #44
Hey there!...and today the packing and tidying began! Only two more days in Aberystwyth.. I can't believe my first semester is over already! This is insane but I'm soo glad that all my lectures are done - although having exams next year...
We did our flat Secret Santa today and it was so lovely to have everyone together and all the presents were brilliant. My flatmate got me five presents and they were all lovely! I am out tonight with a few people but I don't know if I will stay out to the clubs or not..but we shall see!
Toodle pip,

Day #43
Hey there.
I got my extension granted for my literature review today that was due in on Friday so I am so relieved.. as especially now I have until January 5th! I do not at all want to leave it that long, but it's reassuring that I do not have to get stressed and make myself ill again.
Other than that, I haven't done a whole lot today. I ventured down to Lidl to get a little bit of shopping but that's as crazy as it gets. I'm currently with my boyfriend and we have just been discussing going home and all that jazz, which is super lovely but also strange. I am so glad we live close in Kent as well, as those uni couples with homes far apart don't get to see their other halves over the Christmas period, which is just not cool.
Anyway. that's all from me. Good night folks!

Day #42
Hey there.
It's nearly Christmas and the last week of term - I should not be feeling this stressed. I have an assignment due on Friday however I have applied for an extension because of how unwell I was last week.. but am yet to hear so I'm trying my hardest to get as much done as possible. It's on electoral geographies as well which does not particularly interest me, so I'm finding it even more difficult to concentrate.
Tonight is the first time I am supposed to properly be going out for a few weeks but I am scared about that. I think even if I only drink a little I will get really drunk and I don't want that - I just want to feel happy. The happiest thing that's happened today is the fact that presents are being put under the tree in dribs and drabs which is lovely to see everyone getting in the spirit.
I shall be off, until the morrow,

Day #41
Hey there!
Monday funday.. or not as the case may be! Today hasn't been too bad for me actually, and I actually went to all of my lectures! It's so strange though, as it is the last week of term we are having the last of our lectures.. I can't believe our first University semester is already coming to an end..
This has helped to get into the Christmas spirit though, as I have been wrapping my Secret Santa presents, blowing up Santa and Snowman balloons, and listening to classic Christmas music. I'm so glad people in my flat are getting just as excited about this time of year as I am, it's lovely. I even walked through town after dark earlier, and it was lovely to see all the lights and the giant Christmas tree. My friend wasn't impressed by it all, but I love any sort of attempt and in my opinion it looked lovely - and that made me happy.
Currently I am sat in the kitchen with two of my flatmates, listening to Michael Bublé and peeling potatoes. Yes I know that seems quite random, but weirdly this has become quick a regular occurrence in the flat... making mash at all hours of the night. I'm not complaining though, as I bloody love mash so much - mash and gravy is a perfect dish. Mmm!
I need to keep an eye on the potatoes, so I will be back tomorrow!

Day #40

Hey there!Day 40... wow I didn't ever think I would have managed to keep up blogging this long, as the longest I managed to keep a diary was the best part of a month - I love doing this though, it's nice to be able to share what's happening in my life and have a bit of a moan.
Last night was wonderful, celebrating Lissi's birthday, with us all in Christmas jumpers starting off the festive season. This was carried on as today we went for out inter-flat meal, which was a carvery at a local pub. It was wonderful to have pretty much all of us together with Christmas jumpers, crackers, and paper hats. The first photo is of all of us at the meal earlier taken by a waitress, and the second is of me and Will - sat at the head of the table, like the Christmas King and Queen.
This has meant that I have been able to get my favourite Christmas jumper out for the first time this year, and that makes me very happy. Will and I were supposed to go to a Carol Service tonight, however I was just too exhausted and in pain - so tonight it's just a nice quiet night in.
I shall be off then, goodnight!
