Day #35

Hey there.

First off, last night was absolutely lovely. After seeing my boyfriend I came back to the flat and we played Christmas music as we decorated the kitchen - hence the photo of our tree from yesterday evening. We have since slightly updated the tree, with a few more giant crackers on there today. It's so nice to be getting into the spirit of Christmas whilst being up here, and we are really getting into the idea as we all go home next week.

Once again I wasn't in lectures today due to countless spasms, and stupidly I haven't actually done anything all day - although when I said this to my mother she agreed that I was okay to not be doing work at the moment. By this evening though I needed to get out of the flat, so did a short walk over to Will's flat to see him and spend some more time together, as well as to see the tattoo one of his flat mates had gotten today.

Earlier on I got to FaceTime my mother and sister at home which was absolutely lovely. I hardly get to speak to my sister anymore and I hate that as she really is my best friend, so getting to see and speak to her today was wonderful. I think my immediate family are all worried about me because of my back (as they can't hide their worry very well), and to be honest I am worried too, but I know I am being looked after extremely well by Will and my flatmates - who will drop almost anything to help me out.

Anyway, I have taken a tablet which is going to send me straight to sleep so I best be off.. Goodnight,
