Hey there!
This has been a weird, weird day - and has gone so quickly yet so slowly at the same time. I ended up not going into town last night, yet still did not sleep through the night as I was waiting for everyone in my flat to get home safely.. I really am like their mother. This therefore meant I was awake until gone 5am, so I allowed myself a lay in until 12. After this two of my flatmates came into my room and updated me on the happenings of last night, needless to say they were steaming.
I took Will into town this afternoon so he could get his Secret Santa present sorted, as well as to get himself food and drink for tonight. I was overwhelmed with a high temperature despite being outside in the freezing Welsh weather, so it wasn't the most fun trip for me. I did just come back and try and nap, however I couldn't do that either.. so I doubt I will make it into town again tonight.
It is my friend Lissi's birthday today, so her flat is hosting a birthday party in her honour which I'm very excited to attend. As I can't drink it will be hard to be around so many drunk people, but it will be worth it to be able to be with all of my friends again, as it has been a while since I have properly seen them all. Lissi's mother sent up cupcakes as a surprise for her, and whilst I was feeling down late last night/this morning Will bought me one over - however I have only just had it now, and it was wonderful!
I need to get ready for this evening now, and get my Christmas Jumper ready for its 2014 debut!
