Day #28

Hey there.

Every morning I wake up recently I am praying to feel better, but alas once more my back is still hurting and my headache has reached a week. I tried not to let it stop me today though, as I did go to my lectures (despite one ending up being cancelled), and held an interview with a professor that was very interesting. Walking back to my flat after the second lecture though my hip gave way, and I have had to miss the lecture after as that was the last straw - so I am very annoyed with myself but it wasn't like I missed it just for the sake of it.

The photos today were taken just walking around campus without stopping to focus, and I really like the way that the trees are the most defined section of both photos. This makes it seems like these are the only stable things in a world that is always on the move - however as a geographer I sadly know that they are just as at risk as we are.

Tonight is a night in on my own (yay) as I am going to start my essay which is actually on Postman Pat. Obviously there is a bit more to it than that, but it makes it easier to explain to people what I am doing at the moment. I'm feeling pretty down this evening so it's probably best for me to be in as the only attention I really want would be from my boyfriend (who's going out) or my family (who don't live here). I don't know if it would actually be best for me to get out of both my room and in turn my head, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Anyway, that means that I'll be getting some work done which is good.

Catch you on the flip side,

Becca x
