Day #4

Hi there,

Today I made the long, tiring journey home from Aberystwyth to Kent. I love travelling through Wales it's just so beautiful and rural - I definitely will always be a country girl. The first photo today is of when we had stopped at Machynlleth, and I feel really sums up my journey through Wales. This view had changed dramatically by the time I had awoken from my nap (last night was long, okay?), and suddenly there were very few open spaces and many buildings. Before today I had not realised how much I loved where my University is situated - but thinking of studying in a city does really not appeal at all.

Saying this, I do love London. Everything is always so alive (unlike in Aber) and there is always so much creativity about. My favourite thing about St Pancras is the pianos dotted around the station - hence the quick snap whilst passing this very talented man playing away.

After a long 6 and a half hour journey, I was finally picked up by my dad and taken back to my lovely home. It's super weird to be back here, like I'm back for good and have only been gone for the weekend. I do miss Aberystwyth though and all the people there - I feel as if they get me, and as my sister said "I've blossomed".

Don't get me wrong, I am loving being home - I have already been treated to a steak dinner and taken my dog out with my sister. This last photo is just a silly selfie taken in excitement of seeing my puppy and my sister, who are my two bestest friends.

Anyway, I am super tired and need to get excited as it is my birthday tomorrow!!! So yes, I will be back in the morrow (on my 19th birthday) !!!!
