hey there!
Last night there were two hedgehogs in my garden so my dad excitedly gathered us all to look at them. They are such amazing creatures it's lovely to see them up close. My dad has actually built his own 'Hedgehog House' in our garden, so they are always welcome in the Messenger household.
Today Will and I went to Hythe, and he bought a picnic for us. We sat and relaxed in a park by the canal with our food, before going to the canal and hiring a rowing boat. I wasn't particularly good so Will was the captain of our ship - but I did feel bad at how much he rowed in an hour! We came back to mine afterwards and just chilled, after playing and running around with my dog in the garden for a little while.
This evening I went on a walk to the Battle of Britain Memorial with my parents and dog. This is such a rare occurrence for us all to go dog walking together, so it was super nice. The wind was a little nippy, but all in all it was quite a pleasant summer eve. This exercise made me feel better about the picnic and food I've eaten today, which is good too.
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
