Day #265

Hey there!

Super busy day again for us! As we stayed in London last night we decided to make the most of our time here and do some interesting stuff. We went to Hoxton for breakfast at a place called Bills, and it was gorgeous. I haven't had bread or pastries in a while so it was just what I needed. We then made our way over to the British Library and had a look and relax in there - but honestly we were so exhausted it was the seats that were our saviours.

Next on the agenda was to go and meet another of Wills brothers. I hadn't met this brother before so that was really nice, and means I have met most of the family now! After a coffee reload and chat it was off to the Science Museum where we had a bit of a learn and investigate, but as there were so many people we didn't end up staying there that long and are now just waiting for an adult night to explore properly.

We then got on the tube to St James Park where we met my mother from work. The three of us walked through the Park to Horse Guards Parade and into Leicester Square which was lovely - especially in the warm weather. We went to St Pancras and sat at the Grand Northern Hotel opposite the station and mum treated us each to a cocktail. I have no idea what was in mine but it was strong and was described as a 'Strawberry Frappe' so how could I resist? Mum then left for the train and we met Wills uncle for dinner. The restaurant was absolutely lovely, and again it was nice to spend time with him and get to talk.

I've not long got back and I am exhausted so off to bed for me now. I hope you've had a good Monday!
